The Typical of Immature Person

Dewasa?
Waktu itu gue baca buku judulnya Karena Kamu Sudah Dewasa, yang nulis Luqman Haqani. Gara - gara nih buku, gue jadi pengen berbagi, gimana ciri-ciri 'dewasa' menurut buku yang gue baca ini.

Ciri Tidak Dewasa
1. Emosional
Anak-anak mengalami proses merasakan, bertindak dan berpikir. Sedangkan, orang dewasa berpikir, bertindak dan akhirnya merasakan. Artinya, seorang yang dewasa adalah pribadi dengan tenang mempertimbangkan setiap keputusannya dan tidak terjebak dalam emosi, perasaan dan pengaruh lingkungan belaka. Kedewasaan menuntut pemahaman akan kebenaran terhadap sesuatu dan mempraktekkan kebenaran itu tanpa emosi yang meledak-ledak tak terkontrol.

2. Egois
Setiap orang memiliki ego, namun orang yang tidak dewasa sering melampaui egonya sehingga menjadi egois. Ia pun tidak menyadari bahwa dirinya egois. Semakin egois, ia semakin jauh untuk melampaui kedewasaan. Kedewasaan memang menyadarkan akan eksistensi diri yang sesungguhnya, tapi bukan mementingkan diri sendiri dan menghempaskan eksistensi orang lain.

3. Tidak Konsisten
Dasar dari karakter seorang yang dewasa adalah konsisten. Sebaliknya, bila seseorang masih bersikap tidak konsisten, mudah terpengaruh terhadap hal-hal baru yang merusak komitmen sebelumnya alias tidak setia dan mata keranjang, maka sulit baginya untuk mencapai kedewasan sekalipun usia memenuhi untuk dewasa. Konsistensi memang selayaknya dimiliki oleh orang yang sudah mencapai usia dewasa, namun banyak juga yang tidak memperhatikan konsistensi dirinya, baik terhadap dirinya maupun terhadap orang lain.

4. Tidak Tepat Janji
Perkataan orang dewasa adalah ukuran dari karakternya. Bila perkataannya dapat dipegang dan dipercaya, berarti kedewasaannya teruji. Namun, bila perkataan yang keluar dari mulutnya sekedar kata-kata tanpa makna yang mudah untuk diingkari, berarti ia belum dewasa. Semakin intens dalam menepati janji, semakin teruju kedewasaannya. Dan biasanya orang yang tidak dewasa mudah mengumbar janji padahal ia sendiri belum tahu apakah dirinya dapat menepati janji itu.

5. Tidak Bertanggung Jawab
Sebagai makhluk sosial, manusia dituntut memiliki tanggung jawab, baik terhadap dirinya maupun terhadap orang lain. Namun, kesadaran akan tanggung jawab hanya ada dalam pikiran orang dewasa. Orang yang tidak dewasa cenderung bingung dengan tanggung jawabnya dan sering mencari kambing hitam untuk melimpahkan tanggung jawab itu.

6. Suka Bersembunyi
Setiap orang tentu akan ditimpa berbagai masalah yang tak jarang masalah itu muncul dalam bentuk yang sangat sulit hingga mencapai tahap yang sangat kritis. Pada saat kritis terjadi, pada saat itulah kedewasaan diuji. Orang yang dewasa akan dengan berani menghadapi masalah itu. Namun, orang yang tidak dewasa akan lari dan bersembunyi, seolah dengan begitu masalah akan selesai.

7. Hanya Berespon Terhadap Pemaksaan
Orang yang belum dewasa adalah orang yang hanya berespon apabila dipaksa atau ditekan. Keterpaksaan dan tekanan itu bisa dalam bentuk harapan untuk mendapat imbalan, subordinasi, kompensasi atau rasa frustasi.


Begitulah ciri-ciri orang yang nggak dewasa. Kalo diri gue yang gue lihat dari sudut pandang gue, gue termasuk orang yang belum mencapai seratus persen tingkat kedewasaan tinggi. Walaupun umur gue udah 21 tahun, tapi gue masih aja suka ngehindar dari yang namanya 'masalah'. Gue paling gak suka sama yang namanya masalah. Biasanya orang lain yang suka nyari masalah sama gue, hehehehehe (gue cinta damai, kok). Kalo udah begini, biasanya gue cuma udah ah, gue mundur, buat ngalah. Mau ngajak ribut ama gue, gue gak bisa. Kalo lu ada masalah ma gue, gue dengerin kok, lu mo ngatain gue apa, gimana, gue gak akan ngebales, paling gue cuma diem. Gue gak bisa ribut. Jadinya, gue biasa kalo gue sering ditindas ma temen-temen, gue gak masalah, gue gak keberatan. Gue maklum kok, karena diantara temen-temen gue, gue emang paling muda, gue harus menghormati, dong. Hehehe, kasian ya gue. Gak papa, gue ikhlas. Allahu ya 'alim.

Everything Happens For A Reason

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they are meant to be there. They serve some sort of purpose like teaching you a lesson or helping you figure out what you want to become. These people can be your roommate, neighbor, professor, long lost friend, lover, or even a complete stranger who, when you lock your eyes with him, you know that he will affect your life in some profound way. Sometimes things happen to you and they may seem horrible, painful, and unfair. But in reflection, you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you will never have realized your potential, strength, will power or heart.

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by change or by means of good or bad luck, illness, injury, love, great loss and sheer stupidity, occurs to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests-events, illnesses or relationships, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. A safe and comfortable but dull life doesn’t give you anything. Your experience creates who you are. You can learn a lot from them.

Absence Makes Reliance Indefensible

Great ideas seems to come from the strangest places, isn't it? ha ha, just read my title! "Absence Makes Reliance Indefensible", weird, right?
Why did i give my blog today with that title?
You know what, first alphabeth of those words formed my beloved BF's name: A.M.R.I.
He is the only one guy in this world who can make my life upside down right now. Basically, I am an 'I don't care whatever happened with you' type of girl or on the other words 'I don't give a damn about you' type of girl, so It's naturally been conditioned that our basic principals are just trust and honesty. We're separated around fifty miles each other. He is still being a Law Student of Muhammadiah University of Yogyakarta year 2005. Although he is far away from me, when we do our communication by phone, sms, e-mail, or others communication stuffs, I always honest on him and tell the truth, but sometimes he didn't believe in me. I don't know, from where point of view he told me that I wasn't honest. Sometimes, I thought that he just concocted to measure my affection on him. Absolutely I do, I'm seriously love him. I really want to get married with him, I want to have a happy marriage and a happy family forever with him, I really want him to be my husband forever. However, I know, everything will be alright. What I need is his face presence in front of me, so I can pour out fully my natural personality to him, It doesn't mean that I'm a fake person, NOOO! I'm just keeping my image, hehehe FYI, our intensity to meet each other is so limited no no no not limited, It's rarely. A month can be there's only once meeting or twice. Actually, It's not enough, in exactly It's a matter of time. If it has the time, I'm sure we will be belong together forever unseperatable. The last time I met him was last week ago. I believe him. Yeah, sometimes 'absence makes reliance indefensible' for other people is so reasonable, but with my condition it's not. I will keep waiting him, because I just want him. I miss him that much.

Anyway, Dear Amrikusayang, today is our third month. Everything's gonna be run smoothly for our relationship, forever. I'm sure. That's why, I need your conviction, too. OK!
